Not many free PDF viewers and readers offer the plethora of functions and features present in Foxit Reader.

You can highlight text, add annotations, copy text and paste it in another document, insert images and assign actions to them, include artwork with or without a comment on your PDF files, etc. It comes with a Word-like word count feature that you won’t easily find in similar PDF tools, not even in Acrobat Reader DC. Besides, you can handwrite your own signature and insert it on any document or use a digital signature for it. Finally, PDF files can be password-protected using this same tool to guarantee their privacy.

In a very similar fashion as it appears in the Adobe reading tool, you can activate the navigation panel, which will take you to whatever bookmarks the document has, to its table of contents, any comments you inserted, a thumbnail view of all pages, etc. The read-aloud function is also available in Foxit Reader.
